If you like lakes and you're in this part of Georgia you can check out Reservoir 29. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Sunrise Golf Club is a wonderful way to kill some time. Go for a hike on the Mounds Trail, and there's always S Bar W Ranch Pond Dam to stop at close to Reservoir 29. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Reservoir 29. Reservoir 29 is a quite wet place regularly with a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month. are in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Reservoir 29 plunge into the 20's. If you need a place to stay Foundry Park Inn & Spa is a nice choice, and Broad River has a brilliant whitewater paddling
spot close by.
While you're here at Reservoir 29 you will meet lots of people from close by Athens-Clarke County, and paddling on Big Clouds Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Biger Creek is a wonderful local stream;
camping at Commerce Koa Kampground is always a wonderful experience. Not far from Reservoir 29, you'll find S Bar W Ranch Pond which is a stunning lake, and there are glorious places to look at along the Falling Camp Trail.
