Camping at Reservoir 28 is great fun, Hazel Creek RV Park is a great local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Nancy Town River offers some good whitewater. At Cash Lake Dam close to Reservoir 28 there are       some attention-grabbing things to see. At Reservoir 28 throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Reservoir 28 temperatures descend to the 20's. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Russell Campground is a fine spot to camp, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cash Lake is just a very short                  distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Brady Creek from Reservoir 28 is trouble-free, and Country Hearth Inn Toccoa is a splendid site to get some rest. The vista of Norton Hill from Reservoir 28 is beautiful; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Hudson River.
