There's so much to do here at Reservoir 22 that you need to camp here for a while, Cherokee Campground is a brilliant spot for that, and paddling on Mud Creek is so much fun. Reservoir 22 is a wet place that gets much precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Reservoir 22 all through the summertime months are in the       80's; the night is a little colder of course, mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Reservoir 22. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Reservoir 22. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Reservoir 22 has to offer, you can camp at Sleepy Hollow Campground; there are perfect places to discover along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. If                  you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Helen is a splendid choice, and people from Cornelia love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Riverpark Inn & Conference Center Alpine Helen is a perfect spot to get some rest, and you could always discover Sautee Valley. Don't leave Reservoir 22 without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. On a wonderful day you obtain a view of Alec Mountain from Reservoir 22, and while you're here, you could also take a look at stunning Reservoir 18. All year is a wonderful time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Royal Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and some close by water includes Amos Creek.
