There are other sites here than Reservoir 15, for example Norrell Lake, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Amicalola Creek. The high level of rainfall makes Reservoir 15 a rather wet location; March is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself       into a kayak and hit Settingdown Creek, and hey, Thalley Creek is a great local stream. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area close to Reservoir 15 has to offer. Not far from Reservoir 15, you'll find Twin Lakes which is a lovely lake, and Sun Suites Of Cumming is a tremendous location to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Sun Suites of Cumming is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Brookshire                  Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is one of the destinations right next door to Reservoir 15 that are delightful to go to. All through the summer here at Reservoir 15, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Reservoir 15.
