Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Shoal Creek. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chattooga Trail, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Toccoa is a great place to spend a night or two. North Broad River Structure Number One Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and the great people of Toccoa like to hang out close by. For the duration       of the warm days of summer here at Reservoir 14, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 50's while Reservoir 14 nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Sunset Campground is a nice local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Rice Creek offers some glorious whitewater. Not                  enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Not far from Reservoir 14, you'll locate Ayers Pond which is a beautiful lake, and if you need a place to stay Toccoa Days Inn is a good choice. Reservoir 14 sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; October on the other hand is the driest.
