This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Cornelia-Days Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a great time. A splendid nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Cornelia, and there are plenty of folks from Cornelia here. Reservoir 13 usually gets a good deal of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other hand is the driest. Going for a       hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and whitewater paddling is great on Mud Creek. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Reservoir 42 is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and you can go for a hike on the Whitly Gap Trail. Near Reservoir 13 you find the Raven Cliff Falls Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and Reservoir 13 is tremendous enough to spend more                  than a day at, Moccasin Creek State Park is a tremendous local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Early Sundown Campground is always a magnificent experience, and Alec Mountain is beautiful and can be spotted from here. At Reservoir 13 through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Reservoir 13. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
