    The beauty of Reservoir 11 is reason enough to stop by. Why not camp at Sunset Campground while you're here at Reservoir 11, and the Chattooga Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. Mag Creek flows through this neighborhood, and get dripping wet paddling on Rice Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Reservoir 11. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; after  
   the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Reservoir 11 fall into the 20's.
Having a pleasant time at Reservoir 11 is painless. A golf course close to Reservoir 11 is Toccoa City Golf Course, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Toccoa for sure. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious spot to camp here at Reservoir 11 is Toccoa Rv Park & Campground, and not far from Reservoir 11 you'll come across Mag Creek Pond which is a picturesque
 
               lake. If you need a place to stay Toccoa Days Inn is a magnificent choice; get yourself into a kayak and hit Brasstown Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to North Fork Broad River Structure Five Dam since you're here. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Toccoa is a great spot to spend a night or two; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Ayers Pond. Reservoir 11 gets much water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.

...onstant except in times of heavy rainfall and original life of lake was projected to exceed 100 years. Silt accumulation after 20 years was approximately .5 inche. Normal elevation is apporximately 800'. Feeder streams maintain lake levels even during extended periods of insufficient rainfall and at the same time provide spill into the exiting stream bed.
The lake has been pulled down during periods of heavy construction of highways across the feeder streams to allow silt to return to the streams and pass thru thedrain gates.
Buena Vista Dr crosses the lake in two places; one being the main dam and again on the Coe Branch inlet. Original construction of dams accommodated these crossings.
Over the years sport fishing has been excellent with large mouth Bass, Crappie, Brem, Pike And Catfish, however fishing is limited due to private ownership of property including the lake basin.
The shorelines and surounding hills are populated with native hardwoods and pine, creating scenery which is unsurpassed in the area. Wild turkey, deer, beaver, groundhog,cayote, fox, rabbit...

Hi!? I am looking for information.? Recently, I have been going thru old black and white photos that belong to my grandmother.? I have several dozen that are dated Easter Sunday, 1945 (April 1st).? I have being attempting determine the location where these pics were taken.? The only thing grandmother can remember is a name:? Panther Creek Park.? She thought it was somewhere around Corniela.? I found this web page while doing a search for it.? I have included some pics.? The most obvious feature in a lot of this photos is a round brick object that people seemed to spend a lot of time lounging around.? I don't know what to actually call it.? Is this the right park??...
