A magnificent nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Valdosta, Ga; camping is available at Paradise Island Fishing. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal) has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you came for an overnight stay River Park RV Park is a perfect location       to camp. Paddling on Turket Creek is so much fun, and unsurprisingly, this is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes, Dashers Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Summertime highs at Registers Pool typically tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Registers Pool temperatures plunge to the 30's. Registers Pool is a pretty                  wet place ordinarily with much rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
