For the duration of the summertime highs here at Regents Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Regents Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ramada Limited Locust Grove is a glorious site to spend a night or two; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet,       you can always go whitewater paddling on Towaliga River. Just can't get enough of Regents Lake. Camping at Atlanta South Campground is always a perfect experience, and swing by Troublesome Creek it's a good site to check out. Why not stop at Regents Lake Dam if you're here; Little Towaliga River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Regents Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain while September                  is mostly the driest month. A delightful place to camp here at Regents Lake is Mc Dondugh Koa Kampground; you'll come across a scenic lake called Mize Lake.
