Reed Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Reed Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Glenn Lake, and the Songbird Trail offers hiking at its best. Do stop at Reed Lake Dam if you're here at Reed Lake; lots of people from Dalton come here.

| | wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Spring Lakes Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors Key West Inn Chatsworth is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Take a hike on the Emery Creek Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Plum Nelly Campground is a fine place to camp. Throughout the months of summer at Reed Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. | |

Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Reed Lake.
That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Reed Lake has it all. A fine place for whitewater paddling close to Reed Lake is
Holly Creek; Reed Lake is right by the Grassy Mountain Tower Trail. Camping is available at Lake Conasauga Campground; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek. Best Western Fairwinds
Inn & Suites is a great site to get some rest, and Duck Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at.
