It's always fun to stop by Reece Lake. | | wonderful. Paddling on Marsh Creek is so much fun, and do take a look at Chicken Creek since you're here at Reece Lake. There is a good hiking trail near Reece Lake called the Brookshire Creek Trail, and visiting Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and there's always Bartenfeld Dam to stop at in close proximity to Reece Lake. There's so much to do here at Reece Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marietta Campground
is a great place for that, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Bradshaw Farms Golf Course is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably addicted to lakes, Bartenfeld Lake is one of those nearby.
Through the warm months at Reece Lake highs are generally in the 80's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Reece Lake.
