Sure, Day Lake is in the vicinity; a magnificent place to camp here at Lake Rebel is Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery. There are plenty of folks from Columbus here at Lake Rebel; there are some great whitewater spots on Chattahoochee River. Summertime at Lake Rebel comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime       the highs are commonly in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Rebel dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Lake Rebel is a quite wet place generally with a large amount of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Lake Rebel is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a great local campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Mulberry Creek. And that's not all                  you can do here at Lake Rebel.
