If you need a place to stay Travelodge Cordele is a wonderful choice. Lakes are delightful; Williams Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Rays Millpond. High temperatures at Rays Millpond through the summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For       the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's; nighttime lows at Rays Millpond through the wintertime usually drop into the 30's. Why not camp at Dooly Campground while you're here at Rays Millpond, and Comfort Inn Cordele is a fine site to get some rest. What a site this is for outdoors folks. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cordele KOA; close to Rays Millpond you stumble on a golf course called Pine Hills Country Club.
