Many people like to go to Ray Lake. Tanyard Branch is a glorious place to stop at, and a pleasant close by hotel is Econo Lodge Thomson. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Through the summer highs here at Ray Lake get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Ray Lake. This lake is

Ray Dam is a spot that is close to Ray Lake, and camping at Rocky Comfort Plantation Campground is always a delightful experience. Ray Lake regularly gets a good deal of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while September is regularly the driest month. For | |

you golfers we recommend nearby Boulders the Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Thomson-Us78, Ga is a great choice.
