What a nice lake Ransome Lake is. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Woodland Lake is one of those nearby, and Turkey Knob can be made out from Ransome Lake. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Ransome Lake. A delightful location to camp here at Ransome Lake is Warm Springs Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Flint River. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western White House Inn, and some of the water close by flows, like Gin Creek. Ransome Lake is a pretty wet place mostly with a large amount of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Summer at Ransome Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days
of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Ransome Lake tend to be in the 30's. There's some exciting stuff to make out at Woodland Lake Dam right next door to Ransome Lake, and float down the rapids of Lazer Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
