This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ransome Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Warm Springs Campground is a delightful site for that; don't forget to take a great little journey to Gin Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Manchester Warm Spring, and do check out Woodland       Lake, it's a lovely lake. At Ransome Lake all through the summer highs are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's while Ransome Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. If you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Pebblebrooke Golf Club; Lazer Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You get a delightful view                  of Turkey Knob from Ransome Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Woodland Lake Dam, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Thomaston. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ransome Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ramsey Mobile Home and RV Park, and if you need a site to stay Best Western White House Inn is a magnificent choice.
