Summer at Powell Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Powell Lake fall into the 30's. Do stop at Hospital Lake Number Two Dam if you're here at Powell Lake; Powell Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a       day at, Little River Park is a glorious local campground. Having a glorious time at Powell Lake is trouble-free. Don't leave Powell Lake without first going for a hike along the Twin Bridges Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Royal Inn Motel. There's so much to do here at Powell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground is a delightful location for that. Take a little spree to Buck Creek                  since you're here at Powell Lake; Powell Lake is not far at all from Milledgeville.
