This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Powell Lake, you can go for a hike along the Twin Bridges Trail, and people from Milledgeville love to come here. Powell Lake commonly gets a lot of rain; most of the rain falls all through March, and October on the other hand is the driest.       A magnificent nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MILLEDGEVILLE, and Reedy Creek Lake is a great lake close by. The scenery at Hospital Lake Number Two Dam in close proximity to Powell Lake is wonderful, and why not camp at Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground while you're here at Powell Lake.
