Many people like to go to Pond Lake. The cheerful folks of Waycross like to hang out close by, and you can go for a hike on the Indian Trail. If you need a place to stay Bradbury Inn is a wonderful choice; magnificent hiking is available along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Pond Lake a rather wet location; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October.

Dry warm beds await you at Bel Air Motel; camping is available at Lazy Acres Mobile Park and RV. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Pond Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Pond Lake.
