There's so much to do here at Political Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hamburg State Park is a fine place for that, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Sandersville. Political Pond usually gets a lot of precipitation; March is when you       get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is a wonderful neighborhood for people who like lakes. Kings Pond is a lake close at hand, and for you golfers we recommend close by Twin City Country Club. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Ogeechee River; Villa South is a splendid place to get some rest. At Political                  Pond throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's.
