Stay the night at Darien Inland Harbor Camp. You just have to go for Pocket Lake. Not far from Pocket Lake you hit upon Opossum Point; Hortense wesleyan Camp is a pleasant campground nearby. Through the summertime, highs typically are in the 90's at Pocket Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Pocket Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.       The high level of precipitation makes Pocket Lake a quite wet spot; the month with most of the rain is July, and November on the other hand is the driest. A charming lake like Browns Lake near Pocket Lake is a fine spot to go to; the vista of picturesque Oyster Shell is magnificent.
