There's always Claxton Sewage Treatment Pond Dam to pop by right next door to Plyler Pond, and a fine nearby hotel is Downtowner Inns Claxton. All the water falling down from the sky makes Plyler Pond a wet location; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; November is when it's the driest. Plyler Pond is a place with many visitors from Statesboro. At Plyler Pond all through       the warm months highs are in the 90's; the overnight is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Plyler Pond are in the 30's. Camping is available at Daisy Farms RV Park, and it's a nice idea to go to Big Branch. This lake is so wonderful.
