A visit to Pinley Lake is always a good idea. Throughout the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Pinley Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's while Pinley Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Line Creek, and Pinley Lake is not far at all from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. to get some rest, and paddling on Annewakee River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Pinley Lake is glorious fun, Camp Truitt-fulton is a glorious local campground; if you have time to spare, Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a national park worth a visit.
