The high level of rainfall makes Pine Lake a quite wet spot; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mulberry Creek; if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Lanett is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at,       Blanton Creek Park is a delightful local campground; after a long day outdoors West Point Travelodge is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. Here at Pine Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Valley. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Flat Shoals River, and camping at Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery is always a great experience. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Pine Lake.
