Pine Lake Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's close to Pine Lake; if you need a location to stay Sun Suites of Cumming is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Pine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Lakes Park is a splendid spot for that, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Settingdown Creek. | | great site to visit is Chamblee Gap. Pine Lake is a wet site that gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. Campground is a brilliant local campground, and Sawnee Mountain is picturesque and can be seen from here. You'll meet a lot of people from Gainesville here; why not explore close by Kelley Mill Branch since you're here at Pine
Lake. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Pine Lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Johnsen Lake, and there are glorious
places to explore along the Brookshire Creek Trail. A trip to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is recommended, and a round of golf at nearby Windermere Golf Club 1 is a brilliant way to kill some time.
