Why not stop by Pilgrim Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Pilgrim Pond. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Helen is a great choice; whitewater paddling is perfect on Chattahoochee River. Having a magnificent time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is trouble-free. | | Pond is Union Grove Campground, and Pilgrim Pond is right by the Whitly Gap Trail.
But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lots of folks from Cornelia come to Pilgrim Pond, and camping at Turner Campsites is always a tremendous experience. in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pilgrim Pond are in the 20's. Get drenched paddling on Mud Creek; Pink Mountain is clearly visible from Pilgrim Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Cleveland Days
Inn is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is wonderful fun. Lake Pless
Dam is an exciting thing to check out; Blalock Ponds is a nearby lake that you could check out.
A lot of rainfall falls at Pilgrim Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most while October is mostly the driest month.
