Picnic Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a splendid adventure. If you came for an overnight stay Okefenokee Pastimes is a brilliant place to camp, and there are great spots to discover along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail. Why not camp at Traders       Hill Recreation Area while you're here at Picnic Lake, and Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a great site to get some rest. Summertime at Picnic Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's; the night is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Picnic Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
