It's always fun to stop by Persons Lake. High temperatures at Persons Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Persons Lake. This lake is so wonderful. L and D RV Park is a glorious campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Forsyth. Best Western Hilltop Inn is a nice location to get some rest,

| | and you can go for a hike on the Ocmulgee River Trail.
Persons Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come here to Persons Lake for a great time. Persons Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Forsyth KOA is a delightful site to camp nearby, and you can run the rapids of Towaliga River. Persons Lake Dam is not far at all | |

Here at Persons Lake there are plenty of folks from Thomaston, and there's whitewater on Little Towaliga River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes are such
peaceful spots, why not stop by Fred Vaughn Lake in the neighborhood of Persons Lake; splendid hiking is available along the Kinnard Horse Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Forsyth Golf Club is around here.
