Wingate by Wyndham Madison / Lake Oconee Area is a wonderful spot to get some rest; there are some great whitewater spots on Apalachee River. The Falling Camp Trail is a magnificent hiking trail next to Pennington Lake. So many cool things close to Pennington Lake, clearly astonishing. Lakes are such serene       spots, why not check out Mason Lake near Pennington Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pennington Lake has to offer, you can camp at Talisman Campark. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Madison is a glorious choice. There's so much to do here at Pennington Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hard Labor Creek State Park is a splendid location for that. High temperatures at Pennington Lake all through the months of summer are in                  the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Pennington Lake plunge into the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pennington Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is September. This lake is so wonderful.
