Through the days of summer highs here at Peacock Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Peacock Lake
dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. A great spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Peacock Lake is Big Cedar Creek, and why not camp at Rome-floyd County Recreation if you're here at Peacock Lake.
