Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in close proximity to Parrish Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Parrish Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 50's; nighttime       lows in the 30's for Parrish Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Parrish Pond a reasonably wet spot; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Parrish Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Oaks Campground is a perfect local campground, and a delightful nearby hotel is Scottish Inns Adel. Parrish Pond Dam has good water scenery and it's near Parrish Pond,                  and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Adel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two.
