You can run the rapids of Mulberry Creek next to Parker Lake, and if you need a location to stay Mountain Top Inn and Resort is a delightful choice. The high level of rain makes Parker Lake a relatively wet place; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is October. Dry warm       beds await you at DI and Suites Pine Mountain-Maingate N Of Callaway Gardens. At Parker Lake during the summer months highs are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and overnight lows through the winter for Parker Lake tend to be in the 30's. Why not camp at F.D. Roosevelt State Park while you're here at Parker Lake; while you're here, you could also stop at wonderful                  Gallops Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Flat Shoals River for all you adrenaline kick people; a great spot to camp here at Parker Lake is Valley Inn Resort. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Parker Lake.
