This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Jameson Inn Greensboro is a great choice, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Scull Shoals Trail. Why not stop at Parker Lake Dam since you're here; Phelps Lake is a pleasant lake nearby. Microtel Inn Greensboro is a splendid location to get some rest, and if you come       at the right time of year, Rose Creek offers some good whitewater. Parker Lake is a reasonably wet place regularly with a large amount of rainfall; during March this area sees the most rain while October is regularly the driest month. Any time is a tremendous time at Parker Lake if you like the outdoors. Camping at Wesleyan Campground is always a wonderful experience, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Town Creek Bike Trail. Whitewater                  paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Apalachee River, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Falling Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Parker Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, North Shore Resort is a wonderful local campground. High temperatures at Parker Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
