Painted Turtle Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March; the driest of the months is September. Nearby lakes? Sure, Steele Lake is in the neighborhood of Painted Turtle Lake. The       warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Painted Turtle Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's.
