At Padgetts Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Padgetts Lake are in the 20's. Lots of folks from Rome come to       Padgetts Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Padgetts Lake without first paying a visit to Wax Spring, and the scenery at Padgetts Lake Dam is pretty. Padgetts Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Cedar Creek, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Callier                  Springs Country Club. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Padgetts Lake has to offer, you can camp at Morrison Campground, and while you're here, you could also stop at striking Todd Lake.
