The beauty of Overstreet Lake attracts many people from all around. Playing golf is lots of fun at Chestatee Golf Club, and not far from Overstreet Lake you'll locate Burt Lake which is a delightful lake. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Dawsonville; you can go for a hike on the Brookshire Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Amicalola Creek has a fine

All through the summertime months at Overstreet Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while Overstreet Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. the Benton Mackaye Trail, and Little Mountain is clearly visible from Overstreet Lake. Why not visit close by Gab Creek since you're here at Overstreet Lake, and don't leave Overstreet Lake without first going for a hike along the
Black Mountain Trail.
Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Overstreet Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hidden
Valley Resort; Best Western Dawson Village Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
A good deal of precipitation falls at Overstreet Lake; the
wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is when it's the driest.
