     Why not camp at River's Edge since you're here at Otter Run Lake, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Elberton is a great choice. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Elberton is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Skull Shoal Creek offers some delightful whitewater. Otter Run Lake gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; September on the other hand  
   is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Otter Run Lake, and the night is a little chillier of course, generally in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Otter Run Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Athens-Clarke County here, and Cunningham Shoals is an inspiring place to explore while here. Otter Run Lake is not the only place nearby, Seymours Lake is a
 
               nearby lake, and Glenn Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A lake close by is Glenn Lake; some close by water includes Beaver Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Otter Run Lake is Watson Mill Bridge State Park; get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Clouds Creek.
