If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ott Lake. Nearby Moore Gap is a wonderful site to go if you're at Ott Lake, and a short spree to Phillips Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Rock Creek; going for a hike along the Skyuka Trail will let you absorb the natural       beauty of this area. For the period of the summertime months here at Ott Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ott Lake are in the 20's. The sight of Round Top from Ott Lake is gorgeous; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Bluff Trail. Be careful coming to Ott Lake, you might not ever want                  to go home again. Near Ott Lake you find a golf course called High Point Golf Course; a good place to camp here at Ott Lake is Look Out Mountain Koa Kampground. Econo Lodge Chickamauga is a splendid location to get some rest, and get covered with water paddling on Bear Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Chanticleer Inn, and camping is available at Cloudland Canyon State Park. Russell Cave National Monument is a wonderful national park; Harris Lake is a fine lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Ott Lake, for example Yates Lake, and a quick tour to Mill Creek is beyond doubt a tremendous idea.
