Do stop by Ott Lake while you're in this part of Georgia. Key West Inn La Fayette is a great site to get some rest, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Skyuka Trail. There's whitewater on Bear Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the sights at Russell Cave National Monument will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. Ott Lake is a site with many visitors from Chattanooga, and nearby you find the Bluff Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Ott Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. A pleasant nearby hotel is Chanticleer Inn. Ott Lake is a rather wet place usually with a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest of the months is October.

Ott Lake Dam is pretty and it's near Ott Lake, and Moore Gap is a great spot to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rock Creek, and a lake nearby is Yates
Lake. Here at Ott Lake you can distinguish Round Top; Phillips Spring is an inspiring spot to check out while here.
What a site this is for outdoors people. Some nearby water includes Mill Creek, and camping at Look Out Mountain
Koa Kampground is always a great experience. High temperatures at Ott Lake through the warm months are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Ott Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
