Hilton Garden Inn Athens Downtown is a tremendous location to get some rest, and you can take a little trip to Oliver Lear Dam if you're here at Oliver Lear Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Big Clouds Creek is so much fun, and you're probably keen on lakes, Morrison Lake is one of those close by. Oliver Lear Lake is a quite wet place usually with       a lot of rain; March is when you get the most rain here; September is the month with the least moisture. There are plenty of people from Athens-Clarke County here at Oliver Lear Lake. Looking for something in the vicinity of Oliver Lear Lake? Big Lake is close at hand, and hiking along the Scull Shoals Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. Watson Mill Bridge State Park is a perfect local campground; do take a hike on the Mounds Trail. Yeah, come                  here to Oliver Lear Lake for a nice time.
