Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Augusta, naturally you could also go to Goodins Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the warm days of summer at Oliphant Pond temperatures are commonly in the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while Oliphant Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter       are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Oliphant Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mount Moriah Campgrounds is a great local campground, and don't forget to take a tremendous little spree to Flat Rock Branch. Oliphant Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October.
