This lake is so wonderful. Knights Inn Thomson is a nice site to get some rest, and Mount Moriah Campgrounds is a glorious campground nearby. Oliphant Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year       is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is October. Take a little trip to Flat Rock Branch since you're here at Oliphant Pond. Summertime highs at Oliphant Pond regularly tend to be in the 90's.
