There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Chattahoochee River, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's so much to do here at North Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pirkle Campground is a splendid spot for that; nice water scenery is available at North Pond Dam in the neighborhood of North Pond. You'll       need more than a day to look at everything North Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Truitt-fulton, and you'll in all probability meet some people from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here. The high level of rain makes North Pond a quite wet spot; the month with most of the rain is March while September is regularly the driest month. Looking for something near North Pond? Jackson Lake is in the neighborhood; if you come at the right time of year, Line                  Creek offers some great whitewater. Looking for a splendid visit?
