     The summit of Davis Mountain can be observed from North Fork Broad River; North Fork Broad River is a great location to visit for more than one day, Hazel Creek RV Park is a great location to camp nearby. Put some time aside to spend at Toccoa Falls since you're here at North Fork Broad River; Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a delightful campground nearby. Country Hearth Inn Toccoa is a magnificent location to get some rest, and if you don't mind getting dripping  
   wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brasstown Creek. Having a great time at North Fork Broad River is painless.
The high level of rain makes North Fork Broad River a relatively wet location; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. High temperatures at North Fork Broad River through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down
 
               to the 50's, and overnight lows in the 20's for North Fork Broad River. Smith Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Toccoa for sure.
This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Chattooga Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Toccoa. This lake is so wonderful. Dead Man Branch is next to North Fork Broad River and is always a joy to visit; you can take a little tour to North Fork Broad River Dam Number One if you're here at North Fork Broad River. A fine site for whitewater paddling close to North Fork Broad River is Big Panther Creek, and if you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Toccoa City Golf Course.
All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of North Fork Broad River will keep you coming back persistently. Hiking is a popular thing to do around North Fork Broad River; Bartram Trail is a great local trail, and if you get bored of North Fork Broad River you could also take a look at nearby Wards Pond.

...of heavy rainfall and original life of lake was projected to exceed 100 years. Silt accumulation after 20 years was approximately .5 inche. Normal elevation is apporximately 800'. Feeder streams maintain lake levels even during extended periods of insufficient rainfall and at the same time provide spill into the exiting stream bed.
The lake has been pulled down during periods of heavy construction of highways across the feeder streams to allow silt to return to the streams and pass thru thedrain gates.
Buena Vista Dr crosses the lake in two places; one being the main dam and again on the Coe Branch inlet. Original construction of dams accommodated these crossings.
Over the years sport fishing has been excellent with large mouth Bass, Crappie, Brem, Pike And Catfish, however fishing is limited due to private ownership of property including the lake basin.

Hi!? I am looking for information.? Recently, I have been going thru old black and white photos that belong to my grandmother.? I have several dozen that are dated Easter Sunday, 1945 (April 1st).? I have being attempting determine the location where these pics were taken.? The only thing grandmother can remember is a name:? Panther Creek Park.? She thought it was somewhere around Corniela.? I found this web page while doing a search for it.? I have included some pics.? The most obvious feature in a lot of this photos is a round brick object that people seemed to spend a lot of time lounging around.? I don't know what to actually call it.? Is this the right park??...
