Nolan Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's near Nolan Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Falling Camp Trail. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Madison is a great choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Nolan Lake; Scull Shoals Trail is a wonderful local trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Nolan Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most       rain, and the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. Little Sandy Creek is a glorious place to take a look at, and camping at Talisman Campark is always a magnificent experience. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Nolan Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham Madison, and people from Athens-Clarke County love to come here. If you come at the right time of year, Apalachee River offers some wonderful                  whitewater, and a beautiful lake like Chambers Lake is a great location to visit. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Nolan Lake is Pine Lake RV Campground, and the Mounds Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Nolan Lake through the summertime are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's.
