If you need a place to stay Thomson-Days Inn is a pleasant choice, and Brushy Creek Country Club is a nice golf course nearby. This lake is so       wonderful. Newsomes Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came to camp Big Hart Campground is a good place to do that; Knights Inn Thomson is a fine spot to get some rest.
