This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Lake Tonawanda right next door to Nelsons Lake is a tremendous site to go to, and at Nelsons Lake you always meet someone from Macon. Nelsons Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the       other hand is the driest. At Nelsons Lake Dam near Nelsons Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see; Ocmulgee National Monument is a very tremendous place to go to. Camping is available at Tobesofkee Recreation Area, and for you golfers we recommend close by Bowden Golf Course. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a tremendous spot to camp. At Nelsons Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. All through                  the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Nelsons Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be.
