A glorious nearby hotel is River View Hotel and Ballroom; Nelsons Lake Dam is a scenic site. Summertime at Nelsons Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Nelsons Lake. You simply must fancy Nelsons Lake. Going for a hike along the Allison       Lake Wildlife Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Nelsons Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Church Campground is a great spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some fine folks from Macon here; for you golfers we recommend nearby Bowden Golf Course. Nelsons Lake gets a large amount of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the                  other hand is the driest. Lake Tonawanda is a nearby lake that you could check out; if you came to camp Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a wonderful place to do that.
