There's so much to do here at Nash Lake that you need to camp here for a while, High Falls Campground is a good site for that, and lots of folks from Thomaston come here. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Little Towaliga River, obviously you could also take a look at McGehee Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. | | proximity, and Potato Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. At Nash Dam close to Nash Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Thomaston is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Nash Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with lots of rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Lamar Inn and Suites, and Weatherford Branch is right next door to Nash Lake and is always a delight to pop by. Summer at Nash Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while
nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Nash Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Nash Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heart of Georgia RV Park.
