Muse Lake gets a lot of water; March is when you get the most rain here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Any time is a good time at Muse Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. There are splendid places to look at along the Falling Camp Trail, and don't leave Muse Lake without first going for a hike along the Mounds Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. There's splendid hiking along the Scull Shoals Trail. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Muse Lake get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Muse Lake during the winter usually descend into the 20's.
