If you came for an overnight stay Pinevale Campground is a pleasant place to camp; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Cains Pond. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Barnwell is a great choice. Murray Pond is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest       of the months is November. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Sylvania, and there are swamps here too, Mobley Swamp is in the neighborhood. At Murray Pond through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's.
