Why not stop by Murray Lake if you're passing through these parts. Murray Lake is a relatively wet place regularly with lots of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Murray Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mount Moriah Campgrounds is a fine place for that, and Jameson Inn Waynesboro is a good place to get some rest.
