Many people like to go to Murphy Lakes. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Murphy Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's while Murphy Lakes overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Home Town Inn Ringgold/Fort Oglethorpe, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Falling Water Creek. This
lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bluff Trail, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Rock Creek. Poplar Spring is an inspiring place to pop by during your stay, and Murphy Lakes is great enough
to spend more than a day at, Ringgold Koa Kampground is a great local campground.
Battlefield Golf Club is a delightful golf course nearby, and if you've had enough of Murphy Lakes, Blue Spring Lake is nearby.
