Mullens Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Mullens Lake is a location with many visitors from Augusta-Richmond County, of course you could also visit Stewarts Ponds since you're here; it's not far at all. A wonderful spot to camp here at Mullens Lake is Forks Campground, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn AUGUSTA WEST I-20 is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
If the weather is tremendous here at Mullens Lake, you can go for a hike along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. You can take a little spree to Mullens Lake Dam since you're here at Mullens Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Forest Hills Golf Club.
