Barbers Run is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a good location to spend a night or two. Mud Lake is right by the Indian Trail; you can stay the night at Rustic Wagon RV Campground and Cabins. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Lazy Acres Mobile Park and RV is a nice place to camp nearby, and dry warm       beds await you at Waycross-Days Inn. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Mud Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 30's. Mud Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. Hiking along the Okefenokee Wilderness                  Canoe Trail is pleasant fun, and do check out Dinner Pond, it's a pretty lake. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are truly bountiful here at Mud Lake.
